Arrival of the Great Old Ones

This was a book cover graphic I designed in Photoshop a few months back for a school project (on Lovecraft's work, i.e. The Call of Cthulhu). From start to finish, a total of two days were spent afterschool on this graphic. All components were made from scratch with the exception of the Earth/moon textures which were taken from here and rendered in Cinema 4D.

The cover title (with a light gray background) occupied the space in the bottom which would explain the relative emptiness there. I didn't have enough time to perfect it, but it still looks pretty nice for the amount of time I spent on it.
